Background:Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat premature ejaculation (PE). The FDA-approved drug for the treatment of PE was dapoxetine (Priligy), which is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that may be used as a treatment for PE.
